Decommissioning of oil wells

When the productive life of a field comes to an end, it is necessary to decommission it to prevent environmental issues. In Brazil alone, the Brazilian Petroleum Agency estimates that more than 60 oil platforms and 165 onshore wells will have to be decommissioned.
